This is me temporarily constructing a connection over to my new project, “Project Sanshimai“. The project consists of KonKonB, Ashei, and I making god awful media in a similar fashion as my idol, “Jazzuo“.
The Lunchbox

This is my lunchbox! It’s interesting with lunchboxes these days. They always fill your stomach with vittles. That’s a BIG word for ‘food’ . People these days do not understand the complexity of lunchboxes! Barely anyone has a lunchbox these days. It makes me sad when I see people with big bags of McDonalds. I cry on the inside. I cry because America doesn’t want to take the lunchbox to school. It started with Bush some time ago. The audacity of him to say that lunchboxes were a thing of the past. That a man must not take his lunchbox for if he does he is not a man, but a boy. A boy who was a man who was a tree. (Perfect Hair Forever). But not anymore sir. I will rid the world of non-lunchboxians. That’s a big word for ‘peoplewithlunchboxesandwhobringtheschool’! We will assemble the masses and destroy the men who oppose the lunchbox. We will launch nuclear weapons of mass destructions all across America.
[btfs#01] – quasimodo’s revenge
Quasimodo’s Revenge is an incredibly intense experience aimed at those who enjoy discovering the rules. Don’t be off put by the fantastic design, just attempt to settle into the first game brought to you by BTFS. You can all surely expect more goodie’s including a multiplayer sequel to quasimodo’s revenge about moonwalking velociraptor’s and cupid’s shooting grenades at chinese new year dragons. I hope that we can all consider to be the first major step in indie gaming in years.
Super Retro Bubblegum Barn Animals
SRBBA – (Super Retro Bubblegum Barn Animals)
SRBBA is an extension of Booty Time Fashion Show, and it is one that extends into experimental music. Super Retro Bubblegum Barn Animals is a series of albums that will be hosted via the fabulous Amie St. service, and as of this moment two singles are available for download both with distinct styles, and an odd sense of humour to match. The one that I’m particularly proud of is the song Giraffes which is about a sexual venture towards zoophilic enlighteniment from the perspective of a young boy. Now keep in mind these pieces are incredibly sarcastic, even when they sound serious. No one can already be murdered, and even my nightmare contains some hilarious sounds you probably couldn’t decipher with a magnifying glass. If anyone themselves has an idea for a new musical venture for SRBBA then I’d love to hop on the improv train and get to recording. You can expect a full album of bad music in the near future. Until then lets kick this stuff ol’ school.
Archaic Complex
Games are things to be played, and yet all people seem to do is oggle over at the newest graphical achievement. The new child mentality is anything not state-of-the-art is trash, and yet they still have this odd Nintendo subculture. Nintendo’s fame has overcome the old 90’s triumphant American leader Sega. Mario has reign supreme over the furry-riddled hedgehog. How is this possible? The other day after my satisfied purchase of a used Sega Genesis, I was asked by four people what a Genesis was. I can tell you for certain that all of these people own some Mario/Zelda/Donkey Kong t-shirts. How is it with all this nostalgia for a SNES they hadn’t noticed their rival? I wonder whether these people have actually played the games they display. Even worse is that when I ask them to list me the order of major consoles it always goes, Pong, Atari, NES, SNES, PSX & N64, and onto the last and current gen (most forgetting the Dreamcast as well). What happened to the C64 or the Intellivision? They seem to think about old things as super-cool and rad, but they don’t even know anything beyond Zelda and Mario. Most of them are horrible at older games and typically label all platformers as Mario ripoffs. What sense does that make? That is like naming all FPS games Doom Clones (which at the time made sense, but the ability to jump does not connect Sonic into being a Mario ripoff). However when I play Ristar in front of them they complain and say play something good. What on Earth causes this? I must know.

Up and at ‘em!
Over the past few months I’ve been in the process of pushing for a new club at my school. Its been a pretty slow thing to do, but I’ve got it approved and it will be in full swing by next year. The one thing that I felt to be an important addition to the standard club arrangement was a wiki to store the various works we create. This provides me a great deal of out-of-school strength and if I can convince the students enough then I should be able to get them to be steady contributors. Usually with school clubs I see a lot of motivation problems. Ambitious ideas are all over, but they rarely get realised to their full potential. The idea is at the end of the year I use the service LuLu (or a superior service if I can find one) to publish a book for fundraising.
Now how does the Creative Writing Wiki pull into this? Rather than restricting the wiki to members of the club I like the idea of encouraging outside people to pool together any work they deem of quality, and thats the goal. A collection of quality literature that people wouldn’t normally read. Using usernames we can remain anonymous, and that anonymity will present an easier choice of publication for people. While I am still working on guidelines for copyrights I’d like to encorporate and encourage the use of Creative Commons within the club and wiki. So that they can remain artists and not workers.
This idea of keeping them artists and not workers is originating from the common destruction of a writers integrity the second they hit the market. If I can train them to ignore the crowd and just write about whatever they please than maybe the next generation of writers can finally produce something considered to be a classic. I won’t bother you with all that art-apocalypse mumbo jumbo, but it is still important that they do it for the enjoyment. With writing you can feel a writers pain when they struggle to care about their work.
In addition to the wiki, I plan on encouraging constant engagement with various contests such as NaNoWriMo and more simple daily tasks like one word. This should help them see their strengths and weaknesses; with the intent on building on these and improving them. By the end of the year they might (and that is a very strong might be able to write a book on their own).
If you are interested in the Creative Writing Wiki by all means join and edit, but please keep it school appropriate it is a school related project.
